Our family-run company can look back on a long tradition: It was founded in 1986 by Heidi Thieme.

Starting as a "one-man business" with a hot mangle and the neighbors as customers, the company grew relatively quickly. The offer was then expanded in 1990 to include dry cleaning. Employees were of course needed for this expansion, they received further training and were then able to independently operate machines in the dry cleaning and advise customers.

The demand for the laundry service is constantly increasing. In this area, too, conversion work, extensions and new acquisitions were made again and again. From small washer-extractors (we've relied on Miele since the beginning) and tumble dryers, it quickly progressed to larger machines. Today we have Miele machines with a capacity of 7kg to 32kg. The largest dryer even swallows up to 40kg of laundry at once. Our state-of-the-art ironer from Laco has also proven to be a sensible and, above all, necessary investment. In this way, and only in this way, can we continue to deliver the best quality.

The second generation has been in the starting blocks for many years now. Tom Thieme, Mrs. Thieme's son, learned the trade of textile cleaner from scratch. After 3 years of training in the family business, he then started as a textile cleaner. Changed processes and procedures, leading the company towards Laundry 4.0.

On January 1st, 2021, Mrs. Heidi Thieme handed over her company to her son Tom. The baton was handed over and Mr. Thieme Junior will now lead the business into the future. Ms. Heidi Thieme continues to work in the company, now as operations manager.

We cannot hide from digitization either. And we don't want that either. In addition to the most modern Miele machines, which are filled with detergent via dosing systems, hot water generation from solar power (with our in-house solar thermal system) and modern checkout systems that work completely networked, we rely on the card payment service and customer reminders by SMS or email.

The new laundry software has been available since January 2022. With the help of this software, processes are optimized, customer service has been improved again (e-mail or SMS notification) and deadlines can be met as a result.

In October 2022, the new collar and cuff press and the brand new SF26 shirt finisher from Veit were put into operation. A leap in quality that is second to none. This is not to say that we have not delivered quality before. The topic of quality has always been very important to us. With the new machines, however, we have reacted to the constantly increasing number of shirts and the relief of the employees. With around 2,500 shirts per month, this is quite an achievement.
